The SFP Giga
bit Ethernet ePIM , shown in Figure 11, uses small form-factor
pluggable transceivers (SFP s ) that allow different interfaces to be used on
the ePIM. The ePIM supports 1000Base-LX, 1000Base–SX, and 1000Base -TX
SFPs only;
it does not sup port 1000Base-LH SFPs.
The S FP Gig
abit Ethernet ePIM cannot be manually co nfigured. It
is set at 100 0 Mbps and full duplex.
Connect the m odule with a single-mode or multim o de optical cable.
NOTE: Configure G igabit Ethernet interfaces up to a m aximum MTU size of 9018
bytes.
