The following table describes the ports on the 5000-M and 5000-M2 management

modules.

The following table describes the ports on the 5000-8G Secure Port Module (SPM).

Console Enables a serial connection, to establish

terminal sessions with the system. Used for

launching Command Line Interface (CLI)

sessions.

Modem Enables a serial modem connection for

establishing dialup sessions.

MGT Enables a connection for establishing out-of-

band management sessions from outside of the
